Why Vacations Are Too Good To Pass Up

We all Need A Vacation!!

Why is the vacation one of the most sought after things to do in the world today? There’s a reason why it is referred to as a “dream vacation”. A person has more than likely been dreaming about their vacation all year. Planning, making arrangements, packing and waiting for the big day to finally arrive.

So, why is a vacation too good to pass up? Because everyone needs a break! A break from their normal hectic life, their job, their boss, the daily commute, the stress, the tension, and all the decision making that goes on day after day. A person needs time to relax, recharge, and get some relief from life. A vacation is actually very good for a person’s health.

Even through these hard times, when so many people are facing financial burdens due to a failing economy, people still continue to travel. Because the people that have saved up all year for their one week of vacation are not going to pass it up. You may decide to cut back on one or two activities you had planned, but the important thing is still being able to spend a week away from home, and enjoy your vacation.

The holidays, spring break, and summer vacations will always attract the traveler. Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas will continue to fill up and congest the airports and the highways with busy travelers. Holiday vacations are a great time to spend a week with your family, while others take advantage of the time off from work to take great get-away vacation.

So, what is it that we do on our vacation? Some will visit new, exotic and beautiful places, to explore and do things they have never done before. For others it’s a second honeymoon to make new memories with your spouse. Some take a vacation to experience different cultures from different countries, while others enjoy a condo in their own country, and just sit back and relax. A cruise is a very popular vacation destination, as well as a week at a beach. Maybe you plan a golf outing, a fishing trip or a hunting excursion with your buddies. Regardless of what you do, where you go, or who you go with, you are at least getting a break from reality. A break that is well deserved, needed, and just too good to pass up.

You know you deserve a vacation! Check out some Great Vacation Deals and plan your next vacation from the comfort of your home.

Why Did Trump Start A Travel Business

Why are people like Donald Trump getting in the online travel business? (You can see it for yourself at his Trump.com website.) The reason is because he is a business man in the business of making money. And he knows how huge this market has become. Even basketball great, Magic Johnson has started his own home based travel agent network.

This is no longer a secret among those wanting to make money with a growing business. Travel is the largest Industry in the world. A $7 trillion dollar industry that is growing 23% faster than the world's economy. And even in this failing economy, people still need a vacation. They are finding a way to save enough money to still travel.

But why lean towards an online travel business, instead of the old brick and mortar travel agencies? Simply because companies like Travelocity, Priceline and Orbitz have put so many of them out of business. We live in a hurry-up world now. No one has the time to make an appointment with a travel agent, and then try to keep it. And then you end up settling for the trip they planned for you, based on what the average person wants to see.

When you’re booking through an online travel booking portal, you can plan a vacation in the comfort of your own living room. Without time limitations, and the pressure of making your decision based on the two or three packages put in front of you.

There are some very good travel portals out there now, that are very easy to follow, and easy steps to complete the booking totally on your own. If you can read, and follow direction, you can book your own travel, and save money in the process. An email confirmation, with your confirmation number will follow, so you can double check and insure that everything has been booked to your liking. You also have contact numbers in case you have any concerns, or if changes are needed before taking your vacation.

Now that you know how easy it is for people to book travel on their own, you may understand why over 80% of the people are booking their travel online. But don’t limit yourself to only the big guys like Travelocity. The rest of the competition is out there for a reason. They are very competitive, with even better prices in a lot of cases. An up and coming travel company, TraVerus Travel, has proven to be very helpful in keeping the prices of some of the other companies in line. And their travel booking portal works just like the booking engine used by Expedia or Priceline.

Some of the online travel agencies out there also give the individual booking travel, the opportunity to start their own travel business with their company. Of course the benefit to the buyer is in the commission paid on any travel now booked on their very own travel booking site. However, start-up costs could keep folks from starting their own travel booking business when realizing companies like Trump Travel charge a healthy $10,000 for their booking engine. But if you do your research, you can also join companies like TraVerus Travel for only $200.

The choices in travel are many, both in the area of booking travel and starting your own travel business. I suggest doing your research first, ask questions if you can, and make the decision that will be best for you and your future.

TraVerus Focus | Selling Travel

TraVerus Top Income Earner Revealed

TraVerus announced at their National Convention At Sea Cruise that their number one income earner for the month of October was a TraVerus agent selling travel to their clients. This comes at a time when people are not taking online travel companies involved in an mlm, seriously. This comes at a time when travel companies are being sued for running possible pyamid schemes, and falsely leading their members to believe unrealistic income goals.

TraVerus proves again that they are serious about booking travel, and running a legitimate travel business through ongoing weekly training. CEO and President: David Manning said "Travel will always be our main focus at TraVerus". People in TraVerus are proving that you can make a full time income selling travel, thanks to the generous travel commissions being paid to the TraVerus agent.

TraVerus will also be launching a new line of travel related products before the end of 2008. This will greatly benefit people flying, taking a cruise, or traveling to another country or climate.

TraVerus Travel Product Launch

Verus - New TraVerus Product Line

TraVerus Travel is coming out with their own brand of product line called "VERUS". CEO & President David Manning has bought into a manufacturing company that already produces travel related products for well known companies like Walmart, Neiman Marcus, and others.

The TraVerus focus will always be about travel. These awesome products are designed to be used as you prepare to travel, and to improve the way you feel while you travel.

Verus Charge It - Just add a small powered package in your water, to provide you with more natural energy. Verus Charge It is a quality source of energy to replace the monster drinks, Coffee, Red Bull, etc. that people are already drinking.
As people plan their vacation, they may avoid certain types of travel because of their lack of energy. Verus Charge It is designed to help increase your energy so you will be able to enjoy all types of active vacations.

Verus Immune - It is a well known fact that travel effects your PH balance. Many people avoid travel because of the issue they have with motion sickness and jet lag. This is a very common condition that can be easily controled. Verus Restore It boosts your immune system to offset these symptoms.
Many TraVerus Agents witnessed the results Verus Restore It could have on people during a recent Caribbean Cruise. Agents with motion sickness were given a sample bottle to try during the cruise. Only two drops under the tongue each morning and there wasn't a problem for them, the rest of the trip.

Verus Cleanse - Many people have concerns of the effect that travel has on their skin. Traveling to different countries with different climates can have a great effect and dry out a persons skin. This Verus Cleanse Mist can have an instant relief to your skin. A must for the active TraVerus traveler.

Verus Flaunt It - This is a high tech facial product with 24K gold ingredients which strengthens the skin and removes wrinkles. This youth serum brings the glow to your face that radiates a positive mental attitude. Your skin will look and feel great during your next vacation!

Verus Lose It - We all want to look our best on vacation. And some people do not vacation because of their weight appearance. With Verus Lose It (in both a day time and night time supply) a person can lose that weight, giving them more energy and health benefits to go on vacation and not be afraid to wear that bathing suit at the beach.

The TraVerus Travel Product Launch will take place in December 2008. The Verus products are expected to greatly enhance the already successful TraVerus Travel business.

What Is The Least Expensive Day To Fly

What is the least expensive day to fly?

Because of the rising gas prices, and airline costs, everyone seems to be wondering what is the least expensive day to fly? Because we are all looking for a deal on our travels. Taking a vacation can be expensive! It will cost enough once you've reached your destination. So why pay anymore than you have to for the flight to and from your vacation spot.

What Determines Airline Pricing?

So what determines what is the least expensive day to fly? Airline pricing is driven by three ugly words: competition, demand, and inventory. So, how can a one-way flight be just as expensive as a round-trip ticket? And why does a weekend flight from Boston to San Francisco always cost $1,000?

All major airlines put their available seats and prices into four central reservation systems, which are owned by various airlines. And they change their prices based on demand. If everyone happens to be going to the same place you are going, the price will increase. If another flight has no takers, the price will drop until the airline gets someone to buy. There's no set price...fares and inventory are changing every minute.

Airline Tickets - Supply On Demand

The least expensive day to fly to New York may differ from the least expensive day to fly to Detroit. It follows the theory, "supply on demand". Demand explains why it is cheaper to fly on a weekday when fewer people are traveling. Although Mondays and Fridays will pay a higher ticket price on an all business travel flight. Even if that happens to be the first day of your vacation, and you have to get from point A to point B on that business flight.

Airlines - The Inside Scoop

Airlines also change their prices based on competition. If one airline drops its rates on a flight by 20%, chances are all airlines will drop their rates for that flight, so as not to give the discounter a competitive advantage.

And this can all happen in a matter of seconds. Prices for a specific flight can go up or down as you reach for your credit card information, so your cheap ticket can be gone right before your eyes. But this can also work in your favor, if the price goes down as you get ready to book.

Shop Around For Cheapest Airfare
It is essential that you look around and comparison shop if you are looking for the cheapest airfare. Regardless of whether you use the Internet or a travel agent. You will likely get a wide range of prices. The challenge is a lot like playing the stock market...you have to know when to say "buy", and make the cheap fare yours.

There is a lot that goes into determining what is the least expensive day to fly. And I realize this may not have been the answer you were looking for. but at least you have a better understanding of how it all works.

Save On Your Next Travel

As a online travel agent I have learned a lot on how this travel business really works. And in doing so, I can save a lot of money in my travels through inside scoops like this one, as well as travel perks, promotions, agent discounts, tax breaks, and more. The knowledge that I have learned in running this part time Online Travel Business has really paid off big time for me. And if I can do it, trust me anyone can!!
